Do's and Don'ts of Sending Digital Files

• Do send in the file in original RAW format or save in RGB format as a JPG at 100%.

• Do not use a low quality or high compression rate when you save the files

• Do not interpolate the file to try to make it bigger. I would prefer to work with the smaller file.

Q: What filesize should my digital photos be?

A: The highest filesize available. Ideally straight from the photographer in their RAW form. Do not resize before sending - if you have to send 2 or 3 discs - by all means send them!
As a guide each image should normally be around 18MB. The smallest size that I would ideally like to work with is around 6MB. That's not to say that I cannot work with a smaller filesize - I can but to maintain quality your choice of album size may be limited.
